Born in the High Himalayas, Engineered for Trust & Safety
For decades, trekking in the Indian Himalayas meant surrendering to uncertainty. Remote mountain passes, unpredictable weather shifts, and communication blackouts left families back home anxious and trekkers vulnerable to improper acclimatization.
A group of certified alpine instructors from the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering (NIM) united to transform mountain tourism. We established Treks In India with a simple yet ambitious vision: to deliver world-class high-altitude expeditions backed by modern satellite tracking technology and uncompromised medical readiness.
Today, we operate across Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir, Sikkim, and Meghalaya. Every single expedition is led by verified mountain professionals carrying high-altitude medical equipment, emergency satellite transponders, and a passion for preserving fragile alpine ecosystems.
“We don't treat trekking as just a holiday business. To us, the Himalayas are a sacred sanctuary. Our duty is to guide you safely to the summit and ensure you return with lifelong memories, complete peace of mind, and newfound respect for the peaks.”
— Ram Lal Panwar, Senior Mountaineer & Search and Rescue Specialist
